Meet the Team

Five therapists work here, and they share one conviction: people are better in community. Between them they see adults and teens 14 and up, and each of them facilitates group work as well as individual sessions. The model is simple: one room for understanding your life, one room for practicing the change, and for adult clients the two come paired. The full case for why we work this way is on our why community page.

This page is built for choosing a therapist, not reading a staff list. Each card below tells you who that therapist is for; when one of them sounds like your person, email them directly or read their full bio.

Every therapist here is reachable by their own email. Choosing first costs you nothing.

01WHO EACH ONE IS FOR

The Therapists

FOUNDER · CERTIFIED ADDICTION COUNSELOR LEVEL I (CAC) – 3679

Grey Donnell

The counselor for people who are navigating substance use, painful relationships, and the struggle to understand themselves; tired of hiding, stuck in old patterns, and ready to understand themselves differently.

THERAPIST | OWNER · LMFT · GEORGIA LICENSE MFT002437

Erica Welsh

The therapist for thoughtful, capable people who have become overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected despite doing everything they know to do. She brings a rare balance of directness and tenderness, challenging clients to look deeper while offering genuine care, understanding, and safety.

LCSW – CSW004833

Todd Valentine

The therapist for people at a turning point: those facing addiction, recovery, professional pressure, or relationship struggles. He brings warmth, positive regard, practical guidance, and a coaching spirit that helps people believe change is possible and then do the work to make it happen.

STILL DECIDING?

How to Choose

Read who each therapist works with, and when one of them sounds like your person, email them directly from this page or their bio. If you’d rather be matched, call the main line at 404-590-2993 or send the contact form, and we’ll pair you after a short conversation. Either way you’ll meet your therapist at a free 15-minute consult before anything is booked, and if the fit turns out wrong once the work begins, you’re re-matched without friction.

Every therapist here also facilitates groups; the full catalog, formats, and prices live on the groups page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick my own therapist?

Yes, and this page is built for exactly that. Read who each therapist works with, then email or call the one who sounds like your person directly; every bio carries a personal address. You’ll still get the free 15-minute consult before anything is booked.

What if the therapist isn't a fit?

You’re re-matched without friction. Fit sometimes only shows itself once the work begins, and saying so here costs you nothing: when possible, we move you to a better match inside the practice and the work continues rather than restarting. If the better fit is outside The Community, we help you find it there. Group access remains either way. The free consult exists to catch most mismatches before the first session ever happens.

Do you see teenagers?

Teen clients work individually with Erica or Grey. Teens never join adult groups; as our teen community grows, we form groups specifically for them.

Who leads the groups?

Our therapists do; there are no outside facilitators. Each group is led by one or two of the clinicians on this page, every group begins with a short screening conversation with its facilitator, and the full catalog with formats and enrollment details lives on the groups page. Adults who aren’t clients here can join at the group-only rate.

Who reviews the clinical content on this site?

A. Umair Janjua, MD, FAPA, our collaborating psychiatrist. He collaborates with the practice and medically reviews the clinical content on this site, and he does not see clients at The Community. His board certifications, training, and academic appointments are in his section above.
